To day was a perfect day for a white wedding!!!! (Can you hear Billy?)
Kourtney & Jason got hitched at the MARVELOUS Longview Mansion in Lees Summit. This was my first time shooting there and the possibilities are endless! I hope I have another wedding there someday.
Here was one of my first shots of the day...THE DRESS!!!
The Hunky-Hubby (AKA: Jason)
The boys
The Lovely-Lady (AKA: Kourtney)
The Girls
The Bling
Airflow...those old buildings with tons of windows have pretty darn muggy upper levels.
It was right before the ceremony when I was walking back towards the mansion and I noticed Kourtney taking a peak at her guests.
I have to hand it to Longview Mansion and their awesome planning services. Things went smooth like butter. Right after the ceremony, we retreated to a cute gazebo where we took the some pictures. Yeah, baby!
We were all STARVING after the ceremony and pictures...so I thought it would be appropriate to have the last few pictures, before going back, to be a race. I love the best man's face as he's running.
But wait...my previous customers know all too well that when I say I'm done, I'm really not. I sometimes say I done 2 or 3 times before actually letting go. I had the bride & groom stick out a few more minutes with me before going back in.
And it was sooooooo worth it!

I love this one...one of my very favorites.
This, too, is also a fav.

I started out with one idea and got this instead...which is way cooooool.
Good kissers...they must've practiced alot.
Another fragrance-ad-looking pic...WHOA MAMA!
I won't repeat the best man's confession...but it was HYSTERICAL. I looked around the room and saw a few other people holding up their pinkies too. hehehe
First dance.

Inside the tent.
Best dance move of the evening goes to Katie (Maid of Honor).

Night-time at Longview...that place always looks beautiful.
HOLY HECK, it's late and I'm so tired, but I really wanted to get something up as quick as possible for the newly weds who are off to Barbados in just a couple hours.
I had an amazing time today and was extremely honored to be a part of their very special day. It was an absolute dream wedding and I could tell everyone enjoyed themselves all day long. You can't get better than that! Congratulations, Jason & Kourtney, and relax & enjoy your honeymoon.

WOW!!!! KONG-FU-PHOTOGRAPHY POW! Kourtney and Jason have got the moves! Photographing them last night at their rehearsal was toooooo much fun. We had ourselves a little party-parade around Brookridge Golf Course for a fan-freakin-tastic E-Session before their dinner. Major thanks to my two light-girls, my rent-a-bag-boy, and another guy who's purpose was mostly served as Kourtney & Jason's personal cheer-leader. :)
OOOOOO, AAAHHHHH...
I love the coloring on this picture...it gives it a artistic HollyWood feel, don't you think?
How SEXY is THIS!!!! Had to give some attention to the Bling. This looks like a high-fashion pic...something like Victoria's Secret, but clothed. :)
Jason has got to be thinking "I'm a lucky guy!" right about now.
This is the "sexy-almost-kiss", as was instructed by my talented crew (some of the bridal party).
OoooLaLa
There should have been some "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack playing..."Hey Baby...I want to knowwwwww, will ya be my girl..."
It was breezy last night...some of the golfers got quite the show. Purrrr... :)
As I as taking this, I thought how cool it would be for them to do this exact same picture in about 60 years.
A little grudge action of the last shot of our party-parade.
Ok...now this is the look when someone realizes they've been caught in the act.
Yes...it had something to do with baby tomatoes...
Kourtney and their family does this "Beaver" thing which is HYSTERICAL! They put two baby tomatoes in their upper gums and try to sing a beaver song without them popping out. I don't think I could do it without laughing so hard I'd choke on them....but these are professional beaver singers right here.
Oh...and can't forget the ladies doing the "Bend" &...
"SNAP"!!!
Kourtney & Jason get married this Saturday and I am so ready! If the rehearsal (which are typically the most stressful part of wedding planning) was this much fun, I expect the wedding day is going to be even better.
CAN'T WAIT!

Every summer, Matt (hubby) and I try to go camping/canoeing at least once or twice. This year, I have been sooooo busy with weddings that I decided to invite the whole FAM for our camping trip as it will probably be the only time they will see me this summer. Eeekkk!
There were 20 of us all together...and this was even more special because it was my children's first time camping. They had sooooo much fun.
My son is a bit afraid of water (actually a bit afraid of everything:), but he sure liked being able to squirt people going by.
Niki is my carefree child and just loves being part of the ride. She found all sorts of ways to entertain herself.
We had one spill...which is suprising considering the river was the most rapid as I've ever seen it.
What can I say...like father, like son.
Who goes camping without Smores? Not us...although, they definitely look tastier before going in the mouth.
Here's me trying to act natural for a picture. hehehe...actually, I was trying to compensate for my "stink-eye"...I got a mesquito bite on the upper-lid of my eye...which has made me look a little like Rocky for the past week or so. Stupid eye just doesn't bounce back easy.
Here's our little camp.
We had such a great, relaxing time this weekend...and I'm glad we made it there and back safely. I was a little worried that my toyota camry couldn't handle 5 people and a butt-load of stuff...we were definitely "low-riders", but it worked out.
