I suppose right about now, Nate and Kirsten are sitting on a nice cool beach with a drink that has a colorful umbrella in it...but two days ago they were busy having a fabulous beginning of their marriage! And I was there!!!! And it was GRRRRREEEAAT! Starting with a fabulous veil!
...well, maybe it actually started with this... (when a flask isn't around...try substituting this, haha!)
What can I say...Kirsten has an amazing group of girls. They took good care of her.
And WALA!!! How flippin' AWESOME does she look!!!!?!!! I was soooo excited for Nate to see her. I was bragging about how goooood she was lookin' before the ceremony started.
THAT dress was exquisite! Words cannot describe how my mind was spinning when I saw it for the first time. ...here, I'll show you...
I've got to give a huge shout out to Ashley Hotka of Good Earth Floral Design Studio. She is Kansas City's Eco-Friendly Wedding and Event Florist...and fabulous at it! Those arrangements and bouquets were perfect and smell delightful.
I have also mention this was my first time visiting the Hotel Phillips. WOW! I'm in love! That hotel holds soooo much character and, of course, has so many photo opportunities. I definitely used it up as much as I could.
ALL these girls were pleasant and got along so nicely. hahaha
Then it was on to the Chapel.
Mighty fine, Nate...Mighty fine!
Here's another handsome devil..
So, we had to dodge a rotting mouse and some had to do a little hiking, but it was so worth it for a unique wedding party image. I love this!!!!
Nate...I love you! Those are some sweet moves. I wish I were as talented. :)
Weddings are such intimate affairs and when I'm hired to photograph something so personal, it really is an honor. I show up, most times, almost a stranger and leave feeling like I've known them all my life. I spent the whole day with Kirsten and can say that she is a beautiful soul. She is a genuinely happy person and
a refreshing personality. And Nate compliments her so well. I am very very happy they had a wonderful wedding day and wish them the best honeymoon.
