Many of you have seen my little sample book of the 3 week old baby...well this is that baby. Already a year old, and beautiful as ever. Her mama is one of my best buds and is such a great mom. Here are some of the cutest pics from our session yesterday. Too cold to go out side, but we got some great shots with the studio lights.

Check out these sweet eyes.

These two bellies-full-of-life belong to my dear friends, Kristin & Karen. They are sisters that have due dates within days of each other. Karen's a professional mom by now with her son Christian already 1 year old...but this is Kristin's first time with motherhood. This picture was taken at Kristin's awesome baby shower last week...this is really delayed, sorry.
I'm am eagerly awaiting their new arrivals. I've been craving some fresh new babies to photograph. Now that my daughter is 3 1/2 and I can't have any more, I'm starting to feel the baby fever. I guess it was good I am the first of my friends and siblings to start a family...I will have plenty of future babies to love on...and still get a full night's rest. :)

This is Robert, one of my good friends. I have forever wanted to photograph him and FINALLY he has graciously fulfilled my requests.

This picture is probably my favorite one.
Showin' off some style.

And I can't forget my fearless assistant...my husband. He posed for me as I was checking my lighting and this picture instantly reminded me of the Spartan warrior-leader from the movie 300. Ok, so he may not be half-naked and splattered with blood, but I still think he's my big tough guy.
Thanks Robert for the good time.

WHAT AMAZING January weather we had Saturday!!! That is good luck, right there!
It was even warm enough in the evening we got some outdoor shots without become complete popsicles.
I started the day off hanging out with Gail in her process of getting ready...but I took a short break to give a little attention to this little girl. HOW CUTE!
The ceremony was held at the charming Danforth Chapel on KU's campus.
They had a nice bride's room.

I LOVE BUBBLES!
Those shoes were worth the pain. Lovely.
With a little driving around, we found ourselves a worthy Jayhawk statue.

Now, as most do...this LOVE has a story behind it. They were young sweethearts in college, got married, then parted ways in the early 90's (I think 1991 to be exact). Then....as they say "True love never dies"...they found each other again and ...well, here they are. Life is a journey...they had a past, this is their present, and they will be together for their future.
Mr. & Mrs.
This will go down in my history of most embarrassing things I have done at a wedding. This table represents my tragety. I was soooo thirsty and went to grab a 2 liter, which I did one-handed since I had my two big cameras in the other hand. The cap wasn't screwed on all the way, the coke bottle slipped from my grasp and the next thing I know I have a sticky coke explosion ALL OVER the table, myself, and MY PRECIOUS cameras. I swear I think that coke kept spraying for near half a minute before some kind guests rescued me. I
was born a klutz. Ahhh, and I must not forget to give credit to all the many fellow photographers that attended. Here are a few of the people who I spotted snaping some pics from the day.
Cool, eh?

Gail & Kent, I may not have been at your first wedding, but I can tell you looked as much in love, if not more so. Congratulations for finding each other again!
