From the moment I met Jayne and Cecil, I knew this was a good thing. Their love is flawless, Jayne's wedding planning skills are top-notch, and they both have amazing personalities. What more could a photographer ask for, you ask? How about a beautiful wedding day... WALA! Wish granted! A bit windy, but it was beautiful.

They had a special meeting for the first time before photo-fun time.

So...apparently I'm not completely immune to the goosebumps and watery eyes like I thought. Watching Cecil admire his beautiful Bride was a huge shocker to me, as I found myself an emotional basketcase. Luckily I had steady hands anyway.

I have to mention also, the DJ was SUPER-DUPER talented at rockin' the socks off of people...litterally! He had the COOLEST money game I've ever seen in all the weddings I've ever photographed. It really got the crowd on their toes...bare toes.

Right now, Jayne and Cecil are about to go on their honeymoon...in Antarctica. haha Just kidding. That's where Cecial has been telling her for months and months that's where they're going. Their honeymoon location is actually top secret. Jayne has noooooo idea where Cecil is taking her. That to me, is more suspensful than a pregnant woman waiting to find out the sex of the baby...because at least their are only two options there. :)

They had a FANTASTIC wedding and I know they are off to have an equally wonderful honeymoon...where ever it may be.

I called Matt on the way home from my wedding Saturday to chat...and he was in a good mood but seemed a little suspicious about something. He told me he had something he wanted to talk to me about in person when he got home. hummmm....unusual. So, I get home, and he leads me into the kitchen and starts off with "Honey...don't be mad..." hummmm....this isn't looking good. "Honey, I went to Zona Rosa today with the kids to let them play, and Niki asked to get her ears 'pinched' at Claire's." AWWW!!! "OH, MY BIG GIRL HAS PIERCED EARS NOW!!!, Let me see the pictures!" as I started jumping up and down all excited... and then his smile slowly faded... (I know...dramatic, eh...).

Matt took Niki to get her ears pierced, to which she didn't scream and cry, she was TOTALLY brave...but he didn't take video or a single photograph...not even with his camera phone. :(
So, I wasn't mad that I wasn't there for the momentous occasion, just that there was not documentation what-so-ever. errrrr....

On Sunday, to celebrate Niki's new, beautiful ears...I decided to clean them up a bit and take them to Parkville for some bike riding and a few updating pictures. We unloaded the bike and tricyle out of the trunk and were immediately embarrassed when we saw the kids start their ride. Apparently they both have grown a foot over the winter and their little rides are too little for them now. HAHA!

Opened my window blinds first thing Saturday morning, and all I see is BLAH! Rain, rain, rain... ug. But, as an experienced wedding day viewer, I know there is always sunshine on the way. And even if it hadn't shown up, Miranda and Brad were so in love they might not have even noticed. Awww....

And since Miranda's wedding had an explosion of beautiful and vivid colors...had to get a super colorful, fun wedding ring shot.
